Carl Cox releases his debut Global Underground mix album, ‘Black Rock Desert,’ on 1st Feb 2010. Taken from a storming 2 hour set in The Opulent Temple in the Black Rock Desert, Summer 2009. “When I decided to do a Global Underground mix it just had to be here ,” says Carl. Everything aside from the entrance fee is free. It’s all about sharing and contributing to the experience. People barter, offering everything from free artwork installations to free flirting lessons and drinks. “There’s loads of people out there who have no idea. It’s been going on for 20 years. And I do think there are like-minded people who would like to share my experience. It justifies the release for GU. Its been an exciting year for Prime Numbers with 2009 seeing the release of Linkwood's debut album & Trusme's "In the Red" LP, alongside side a handful of essential EP releases. This CD features a collection of tracks selected from the years E.P releases combined with some forthcoming material on the label.
